Tradition of buttonholes
The idea behind this traditional way of wearing came from ancient Greece. They wore flowers and herbs pinned on their chest close to their hearts. This depicted their belief that flowers help keep the evil spirits away from the heart of groom so that he loves the bride unconditionally.
